The Kashmirian wolf hunter
To learn more about this character design, you can download the design process and the story I provided below. Kashmirian Wolf Hunter is my second character design with animating in mind. I achieved some great goals in this path, and I am finally assured of what I want to do going forward. One more thing to mention about this character is that I fully changed my workflow from photoshop to ClipStudio and I felt more powerful and less overwhelmed. Also, Her color pallet is in the darker spectrum colors to cover her antagonistic attributes.
Until this very moment, I was mostly shy about touching the dark sides of the grand universe I created. After gaining a lot of confidence in the technical side, I thought of taping into those dark sides and bringing some of those villains and antagonists into life, starting with the story of a poor Kashmiri girl who is being adopted into a guild of hunters and killers in pursue of her retribution from the unfair world and the gods.
#1 - I was new to the whole idea of AfterEffect animations and after the wrap-up of the painting I started separating the layers of the body for the puppet animations but when I got to AE I realized that 40% of the parts I separated I refined for animation are unnecessary to the whole work.
#2 - ClipStudio Paint unlocked a never seen power in me that I couldn't understand before so I took my time and understood all its tricks like pattern implementation ( on the cape ) brush variations ( I know Photoshop brushes are good but this is next level. )
